Christopher B. Langhart is an associate in the law firm of McManimon & Scotland, L.L.C., and practices in the area of public finance and redevelopment.
Mr. Langhart’s primary practice area is public finance. He has represented the State of New Jersey and various public entities in the State including the New Jersey Health Care Facilities Financing Authority, the New Jersey Transportation Trust Fund Authority, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, the Bergen County Utilities Authority, the Hudson County Improvement Authority, the Bergen County Improvement Authority, the Atlantic City Municipal Utilities Authority, the Housing Authority of the City of Newark, the Plainfield Municipal Utilities Authority, the Passaic County Utilities Authority and the Essex County Improvement Authority. His representation has included serving as bond counsel, trustee's counsel, underwriter's counsel, borrower's counsel and disclosure counsel. Such representation has involved a broad range of transactions, including conduit financings, negotiated and competitive bond sales, negotiated and competitive note sales, borrowings through the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust, current and advance refundings, and forward deliveries.
Prior to joining McManimon & Scotland, L.L.C., in November of 2003, Mr. Langhart was an associate in the firm of Hawkins, Delafield & Wood , New York , New York . Mr. Langhart has also served as the Deputy Corporation Counsel for the City of New Rochelle, New York and as an Assistant Town Attorney for the Town of Huntington, New York.
Mr. Langhart received his Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law in 1992 and his B.A. degree in English from the State University at Albany in 1988. Mr. Langhart is admitted to practice law in the states of New Jersey , New York and Connecticut , and is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers and the State Bar Association of New Jersey.
