Underwriter and Trustee Counsel Services
In addition to its extensive Bond Counsel practice on behalf of issuers in the State of New Jersey, the firm acts as Underwriter's Counsel to investment banking firms and others involved in the issuance of tax exempt securities. The Underwriter's Counsel practice includes advising clients on federal and state securities laws, the Internal Revenue Code and other local, state and federal law. The firm has acted as Bond Counsel or Underwriter's Counsel for public agency issuances in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, New Hampshire, New York, Michigan, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming and the Virgin Islands. The firm has acted as Underwriter's Counsel for financings involving municipalities, school districts, county authorities, and state authorities, among others. Also, as a result of its extensive Bond Counsel and Underwriter's Counsel experience, McManimon & Scotland, L.L.C. has been retained on many numerous occasions to represent banks and other lenders as Trustee and Agent's Counsel.
